Safer Neighbourhoods Through Compassion and Accountability

Ward 4 has been deeply affected by homelessness, addiction, and the mental health crisis. These challenges require practical solutions that improve safety while treating people with dignity and respect.

As your City Councillor, I will:

Advocate for safer streets, parks, and public spaces through better lighting, cleanliness, and neighbourhood improvements.
Support coordinated responses that bring together emergency services, health and outreach workers, and community partners.
Expand access to addiction treatment, mental health services, supportive housing, and outreach programs.
Support community-based policing that builds trust with residents while addressing crime, drug trafficking, and repeat public safety concerns.
Work with all levels of government to ensure London receives the resources needed to respond effectively to homelessness and addiction.

Safer communities are built by addressing the root causes of crime while protecting the well-being of everyone who calls Ward 4 home.

Better Housing and Respect for Tenants

Everyone deserves a safe, clean, and affordable place to live. Too many Ward 4 residents face deteriorating housing conditions, rising rents, and uncertainty about whether they can remain in their homes.

As your Councillor, I will:

Prioritise capping property taxes and funding essential services by investing in more vibrant community spaces
Push for stronger enforcement of property standards and hold negligent landlords accountable.
Support proactive inspections of apartment buildings with ongoing maintenance issues.
Advocate for affordable housing and supportive housing that meets the needs of individuals, seniors, families, and people experiencing homelessness.
Work to strengthen tenant protections and ensure residents know their rights and can access support when they need it.

Strong communities begin with stable housing.

Investing in Young People

The best way to build a stronger Ward 4 is to invest in young people today. Every child and teenager deserves opportunities to learn, grow, and succeed.

As your Councillor, I will:

Support more recreation, mentorship, arts, sports, and after-school programs.
Create opportunities for youth leadership, volunteerism, and civic engagement.
Advocate for programs that help young people avoid involvement with crime, gangs, addiction, and violence.
Work with schools, community organisations, and local businesses to create pathways to education, employment, and leadership.

When young people have hope and opportunity, our entire community benefits.

A Councillor Who Listens, Shows Up, and Delivers

Ward 4 deserves a councillor who is visible, accessible, and accountable, not just during an election campaign, but every day.

As your Councillor, I will:

Hold regular community meetings, apartment building meetings, and neighbourhood walks.
Listen carefully to residents and provide clear updates on the issues they raise.
Work collaboratively with neighbourhood associations, businesses, service providers, and community organisations.
Report openly on progress, follow through on commitments, and always put Ward 4 first.

I believe the best decisions are made with the community, not simply for the community. Together, we can build a safer, healthier, and more hopeful Ward 4.
